10% is Enough! Campaign
In addition to our continuing work on local issues, LI-CAN is joining other IAF affiliates from New York City, Washington DC, Baltimore, Boston, North Carolina, and London to kick off the 10% Is Enough campaign, a campaign pushing for the return of usury laws in the United States.
On July 22, 2009, more than 300 leaders from the New York Metro area affiliates gathered on Wall Street for a major assembly to launch the campaign. This action was held simultaneously with similar actions in London, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C. and Charlotte, NC.
